Starting his career at Backyard Animation/Tricky Pictures in Chicago, Keith Lowry developed his chops shooting and animating numerous broadcast projects… as well as meeting his future producer and wife, Shannon.
After cementing their creative partnership, Keith and Shannon headed west, to Los Angeles, where they created professionally successful and personally satisfying campaigns at Nickelodeon, Klasky Csupo, and Rhythm & Hues, to name but a few. Their time in L.A. culminated in working with director Mark Osborne, where Keith shot and Shannon line produced the stop-motion short “MORE”, which received an Academy Award nomination, and the Jury Prize at Sundance.
While loving the SoCal lifestyle, it was time to shake it up. Keith and Shannon took their talents and ambitions to Austin, where Keith has pursued design and animation for broadcast, collaborating with GSD&M, McGarrah Jesse and Sicola Martin. Shannon ran a successful letterpress studio, Round Robin Press, that was featured on the Today Show, Texas Monthly and Design*Sponge.
In 2011 Keith and Shannon decided to get the band back together, forming OCDC to address the changing needs of the broadcast market.
